Terms of Service

Welcome to MarginOS. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (marginos.com) and our application (app.marginos.com) (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Account Registration

To use our Service, you must be at least 18 years old. We use Google OAuth 2.0 for authentication. By signing in with Google, you represent that the information provided to us by Google (such as your name and email address) is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials.

2. Data Integration and Usage

Our Service integrates with specific third-party providers to deliver business analytics:

  • Google OAuth & Ads: We access basic profile info for authentication. If you connect your Google Ads account, we retrieve SKU-level performance and cost data solely to generate your profitability reports.

  • Document Processing: We utilize third-party tools (including Parseur) to parse uploaded invoices and inventory lists. By uploading these, you grant us a license to process this data to provide the Service.

  • Data Usage: Your data is used solely to provide analytics. We do not sell your personal or business data. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs strictly adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. User Content and Acceptable Use

You are solely responsible for any documents or data (the “Content”) you upload or connect to MarginOS. You represent and warrant that:

  • You have the legal right to upload and process such Content (e.g., warehouse invoices, tenant lists).

  • The Content does not violate any third-party privacy rights or contain prohibited PII.

  • You agree not to use MarginOS for any unlawful purpose. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

    • Attempting to bypass or break any security mechanism of the Service.

    • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the software.

    • Using the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code.

    • Automated scraping of data from the Service without prior written consent.

    • You may not upload documents containing sensitive personal financial information not required for the Service’s functionality.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party integrations (e.g., Shopify, Google Ads, Parseur). We are not responsible for the uptime, data accuracy, or privacy practices of these external providers. Your use of these integrations is also governed by their respective terms and conditions. You acknowledge that the accuracy of analytics depends on the data provided by these third parties.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MarginOS, its directors, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data.

Specifically, MarginOS is not liable for:

  • inaccuracies in third-party data (e.g., Google Ads metrics);
  • errors in automated document parsing (e.g., Parseur outputs);
  • business decisions made based on Service analytics;
  • sync failures or API outages from ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify);

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. MarginOS disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Colorado, USA without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
